I was born in Manchester, UK where I gained a B.Sc. in Pharmacology and then moved to London where I continued on to earn my Ph.D. Since moving to Israel in 1992, I have been working in the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University managing research labs, in addition to undertaking projects as a freelance editor.
I offer scientific editing, grant writing and editing and also more general marketing and content editing. My clients range from university professors to hi-tech companies and my projects from grant applications and research papers, to marketing literature and manufacturer’s user manuals. I’m known for my ability to advise and suggest changes and improvements as well as for my skills in editing and sharpening texts for both British and US English.
When I’m not editing or working in a lab, I spend my time enjoying my family and my community, advocating vaccination, promoting evidence-based research and reporting and acting in amateur productions including Theater in the Rough’s summer Shakespeare productions in Jerusalem.
